IEEE- NUCES
IEEE-NUCES aims to raise consciousness of science and technology among the students. It is among our prime objectives to promote awareness regarding new technological innovations. The branch organizes a number of events to achieve its aim. The branch not only conducts informative sessions for the students, it also provides a platform for brilliant students and professionals to come and express their views on topics of their interest.
In order to fulfill the objectives, IEEE-NUCES has organized many events in the past. The major events include conferences, seminars, panel discussions and short-courses. Students from all over the Lahore section are invited to participate in such activities. The topics of such events pertain to the recent occurring(s) and activities in the IT industry. By attending such activities, the students as well as the experienced and skilled professionals, get an opportunity to express their views.

Our purpose and mission is to help our members develop skills that are essential in a professional career. We focus on academic, technical, professional as well as social areas.
IEEE-NUCES provides you a platform to:

Organization
The IEEE-NUCES Branch Counselor is Dr. S. Amjad Hussain Shah. The branch has an Executive Committee, which is responsible for the smooth running of affairs of the branch. The executive committee comprise of the following members:
- Chairperson
- Vice Chairperson
- General Secretary
- Treasurer
Along with the Executive Committee, there are many other committees working in parallel to extend assistance in their respective departmental tasks and which regularly report to the executive committee. The standing committees are:

- Web Development
- Internal setup
- Marketing and Invitations
Formal Activities
IEEE-NUCES, in order to achieve its objectives, has organized many events in the past years and will continue to do so for the betterment of our members and other students as well. In this regard, many seminars, short courses, competitions and panel discussions are organized. The aim of all these activities is to raise awareness among the students about the developments in the IT and communications field.
